Re: Countries, borderlines, minorities voicing their opinions, and lies.

I did not suggest of any disposal of residents, or governments owning
citizens.  Nor did I suggest anyone giving up their identity!!!
Don't be putting words in my mouth.  I never said those things.
Government governs its trritorry and through a democratic
process, people voice their opinions.  I have no problem with Hungarian
minority voting or assembling or voicing their opinions.  However all
within legal channels, and the final resolutions (of the Gov') must
be respected.  None of this lying about how Slovaks are racist, or
suppress minorities' rights, and lies like that.  Why don't you examine
how other minorities are dealt with in other countires in this Free World?

It's time you stopped pretending that Magyars are living all along the
southern border in one continuous strip.  I suppose we can argue about
this until there's no tomorrow, but show me FACTS.  Better yet, if you

I admit, I do not follow overseas politics too closely, but that doesn't
mean I don't have (an educated) opinion about it.  I am not a Historian,
nor a Politician, but why should that prevent me from posting in this

I guess you didn't detect a bit of irony in my grad finale.  Up until now
Slovaks were under the rule of Germans, Russians, Magyars, Czech... so all
of our misfuortunes could have been blamed on these nations.  Finally,
Slovaks have a chance to prove themselves, be all they can be, and if
something happens, we only have ourselves to blame.  I know the economic
situation in Slovakia isn't exactly peechy, and if we become a wealthy
nation, it'll be by our own hands, and if we don't, then we screwed up,
but we'll have no more nations looking over our shoulder.

In every discussion I have had before, I think of myself quite reasonable,
and I can compromise to achive common solution.  My knowledge of SLovak
history and present comes from various sources, but I admit, I am not
concentrating on it full-time.  I have lived in Slovakia, I have lived in
Hungary, I have visited the places, seen the people, their culture,
their politics, and their economy.

You seem like one of those people who always think they are right.  From
