As long as the economic bottom line is the bottom line don't expect too
much. Capital has no memory. It has no history. It only knows the bottom
line. What did you expect Rio to do? Environmental regulations are not
necessarily good for business because too much of it is not sustainable.
Rio was a good show, though.

Been here since 1972 and never saw a shark. As far as hurricane's
are concerned.... what's worse: floods, earthquakes, tsunamis,
snow and 30 degress below zero for 4 months, being tailgated at
200 km/hour on the Autobahn by a black Mercedes, standing in
line for two nights for aragaz in the dead of the winter, skin-heads
rioting, locusts, Russian soldiers (davai chas), the Securitatea,
Criva~tzul, the Foehn, ....... we seem to survive them all. No?

The worst I have ever experienced is a tornado that uprooted
my neighbor's oak tree and missed my house by 10 cm. In
25 years, that's not bad.

Not according to Laszlo Orszagh. Or rather, both mean the same
thing. As far as the magazine is concerned I am sure that the pepper, and
the expression "borsot torni valakinek az orra ala" also had something to do
with the choice of name, but such expressions as "kicsi a bors, de eros,"
meaning, "the pepper corn is small but hot" leads me to believe that at
least the original meaning had something to do with "smallness."

US government having been represented, not much. But exactly this
is THE problem.

Though, show it was.

As long as national economies and/or corporations may
gain competitive advantage by using up AT NO COST limited,
non-recoverable ressources like environment ( beloning not
them but mankind and the next generations ) it is a matter
of time ( and NOT VERY LONG TIME ) that we commit collective
suicide.

1/. Lipo't would be the correct Hungarian form

2/. As for Borsszem Janko, I would try: Johnny Peppercorn.
Even the rhytm is similar.

Eva, actually why were you so unhappy in Canada? My only problem is the
climate.... Agnes

Hey, I had that here, in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein. Only,
it was my own tree...Of course no tornado, we are simple people
here. It was an ordinary orcane.
