Kedves Mindenki!!
  I realize I have posted a similar message to this newsgroup before and got
some responses, but it is now definite I will go to Budapest to study on
December 28, and I am looking to rent an apartment there.  If anyone can help
me with this or forward any helpful info, I'd greatly appreciate it.  I was
an English teacher in Szekesfehervar for one year, and I do speak some
Hungarian (and am returning to Hungary to study more.)  I will pay in US$ if
that makes me a more attractive tenant!!

14 days to renovate an abandoned Russian base is some feat indeed,
considering the shape Russians are known to leave anything they 
stayed at.  The locals might learn a lesson there about productivity.

I agree with You 100% Csaba.Some certain peole are always 
trying to prove where we are from,or trying to rewrite history 
according to what they might think it might be...
The fact is Hungary has been in existence for over a thousand 
years,and as far as I know (if it counts for anything),we are 
from the east originally.From where exactly I don't know,and I 
doubt anyone else does for sure.However I do know we are not 
turks,or chinese,whatever.Magyarok vagyunk.That's good enough 
for me!

I'm looking for a posting address of a budapestian friend. I lost his

The problem is that I haven't a hungarian phonebook, so please could you
